About us:

We started rescuing cats and dogs in 2001. Our children would come home with one stray or another and we could never say no. Over time and with some luck we were able to move to a farm in Somerset county. One thing lead to another and it wasn't long before we became aware of a horse in need. In several months we had stalls built and fencing erected and we officially entered the equine stage of our rescue.  We are now home to 9 horses and 8 donkeys that were rescued from kill pens. They were all headed to either Canada or Mexico for slaughter if we hadn't intervened.  We have 9 dogs and 15 cats many of which reside in the barn.  All of this is nestled on 124 acres in Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. Though my wife and I handle the day to day chores on the farm we receive tremendous satisfaction seeing all of our "rescues" live their best lives here with us. Our animals are not up for adoption.  We are currently at capacity and gladly accept donations which are tax deductible as we are a non profit 501(c)3 charity. 100% of donations go toward the care of the animals. Our officers and directors are volunteers. Donations can be to our accounts (Neubeck Animal Rescue) through our feed suppliers as well .
